Q. You achieved a lot last year… How do you feel? [Recording: Hyun Jin / Stray Kids member] "I don't think the opportunity to win the Daesang at an awards ceremony is that common. I think we worked really hard for 2025. Of course, we didn't run for that award, but we had a certain goal in mind. Seeing so many of our seniors win the Daesang when we debuted, and dreaming that we could do something like that someday, that's how we started. So, I was overwhelmed. I also think the road we've walked so far hasn't been smooth. So, all those thoughts came flooding back to me, and I was so happy. I think they gave us the award so that we could become artists that STAY can be so proud of, so I was so grateful for that. I remember actually having a celebration party at the hotel that day, eating finger foods and saying, 'We finally did it.' (You mean Mama, right?) Yes, Mama." [Recording: Bang Chan / Stray Kids leader] "I think it was an achievement we really wanted. It wasn't easy. It felt like a long road, and we ran really hard, wondering when we'd finally receive it. But we were so grateful that we finally received it, and I was so happy. It all flashed before our debut, like a kaleidoscope of events. Even as trainees watching the stage, we'd been steadily creating music, practicing, and showcasing the stage, and now that we could finally receive it, we were even more overwhelmed by the experience. Not only did we feel great at 'MAMA,' but we also felt great at 'Golden Disc,' and now that we've received the Daesang award, we're determined to work even harder going forward." Q. There was a lot of talk about you crying a lot when you won the award. [Recording: Seungmin / Stray Kids member] "When I cried so much, I felt so passionate. I think those tears were filled with so much. It's natural for humans to want more when they achieve something. But for the daesangs we received at this year's awards ceremony, of course, rather than working hard to win awards or achieve them, we prioritized the music we love and the positive influence we can have on many people through the things we love. Each member was doing their best in their respective roles. At that time, it felt like there was no future ahead, but it was also a feeling of emptiness, because we had achieved something. As you mentioned earlier, when I returned to the dorm, I felt a slight sense of emptiness. I wondered how I should work hard to build a foundation for the next time. There was a slight sense of loss, but at the same time, it felt good, and it felt like a surprising result. I'm grateful to everyone and thinking about how I'll spend the year." Q. A proud moment for the members [Recording: Changbin / Stray Kids member] "For me, last year we went on a long and extensive tour, so I think I was proud of every moment during the tour. Seeing it firsthand, there were so many dreamlike moments, from a performer's perspective and as an artist, that it felt a little regretful to just capture them with my own eyes. Watching the short footage uploaded to our official account, we were already impressed by the grandeur of the stage, but then we saw the drone zoom in for a wider view. It was amazing to see how proud we were to perform here. We filled the place. Stay filled it all." [Recording: Phil Ricks / Stray Kids member] "First of all, we go to see many STAYs around the world. We promised STAYs when we toured for the first time in a long time. Having made so many promises to meet STAYs, we finally got to tour and meet many fans around the world. Many of them watch us in person, watch us online, and support us, but I'm so thankful that we were able to perform live in front of people. The memories are so vivid. When we miss them, we watch them in shorts, and that makes it all feel real again. I'm so grateful." Q. What makes 'Stray Kids' unique? [Recording: Han / Stray Kids member] "Our music covers a wide range of genres in our album, but I think the keyword 'energy' is one of the most important elements that can't be left out of our music. That was the case when choosing the title track and composing the tracks. We need to infuse not only the energy we exude, but also a little bit of our own unique Stray Kids energy into every song to make it into a track on our album. I think it's a song that's uniquely Stray Kids, where we can show our colors, so I think energy is the most important thing." (In a recent interview, you mentioned "ideal" and "strange." I was really impressed by that, so I asked Han about it.) Wasn't that a bit disappointing? It was very ordinary, wasn't it? (I don't think I should say that.) [Recording: I.N. / Stray Kids member] "I believe '3Racha' is essential to Stray Kids' music. Being able to show everything in those 10 seconds is because 3Racha has been creating music like that, and I think that's what gives Stray Kids' music its allure, making it so captivating within 10 seconds." Q.
